Christina began her award winning editing career at Whitehouse Post in Chicago when it first opened. During that time Stumpf opened the company's West Coast facility in Santa Monica with co-founder/editor David Brixton. After returning to Chicago in 2001 she worked on national campaigns for Sears, Miller Brewery, Jimmy Johns, Ford and many others. She is also credited on TV shows, documentary work and feature films.
Christina was nominated for a Midwest/Chicago Emmy for “HIV and the Journey Toward Zero/Part 1”. A documentary following survivors of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the ongoing quest to eliminate the spread of the virus. She has had work shortlisted at Cannes Film Festival and edited an award winning feature named “Alleyball” featuring Keegan-Michael Key which won Best Feature in both New York City and Los Angeles.
Christina’s intuitive approach to editing brings each project to life in its own special way. Her passion is to bring the footage to life and extract emotion out of it, whether viscerally by allowing the imagery to draw you in or collaboratively by allowing the rhythmic visual cues play in concert with a beautiful sound design and music. These techniques work for all genres and can be seen in her work from Visual Storytelling, Narrative work to Comedy.
Christina is currently freelancing out of Chicago for both English and Spanish markets.
